Game Plans
The competition is played across nine pre-programmed games (see the playing field diagram).
- game 1repeated shooting from one spot — the so-called "six" … free throw
- game 2repeated shooting from one spot — the so-called "three" … three-point shot
- game 3: "two-point" shooting individually from 10 different positions. 9 times around the semicircle, the tenth shot is from the free-throw position — the "six". The game starts at the red zone.
- game 4: "three-point" shooting individually from 10 different positions. 9 times around the semicircle, the tenth shot is from the free-throw position — the "six". The game starts at the red zone.
- game 5: "three-point" shooting — 5 consecutive shots from five different positions. 9 times around the semicircle, the tenth shot is from the free-throw position — the "six". The game starts at the red zone.
- game 6: shooting individually from 10 different positions, alternating "two-point" and "three-point" shots, moving around the semicircle. The game starts at the red zone.
- game 7: repeated shooting 10 times from one spot — the "six". Followed by a run across the entire court to the opponent's free-throw circle area and back.
- game 8: "two-point" shooting — 5 consecutive shots from five different positions. After a pass into the field, the player performs dribbling – "two-point" shot – and back. After five shots, move to the next position. The game starts at the red zone.
- game 9: "three-point" shooting — 3 consecutive shots from three different positions. After a pass into the field, the player performs dribbling – "three-point" shot – and back. After three shots, move to the next position. The tenth shot is a "six" (free throw). The game starts at the red zone.
For professionals, amateurs, universities, schools…
- The game plans for professionals (G-Cup 100) and amateurs (G-Cup 50) are identical. They differ only in the number of shots.
- For the amateur competition, the time intervals for individual shots, dribbling, and running are extended.
How to register for the G-Cup competition?
If you are already registered on Charliestats, your QR code is also valid for the G-Cup competition. If you are not yet registered, sign up at www.charliestats.com or scan the QR code.
- After logging in, you will receive your unique personal playing QR code.
- By holding your QR code up to the reader on the side panel of the machine, the player is logged in.
- The small display next to the reader will show the message "player logged in". .
- From this moment, all your shots are recorded – see player statistics.
- The player remains logged in until another player logs in or the machine is turned off.
- For a competition game, you need to set program 1 to 9 (G-Cup 100) or 11 to 19 for G-Cup 50on the side panel of the machine. Then simply start the machine with the START button..
Before starting the games, make sure the machine is connected to WiFi!!!
How to play the G-Cup competition?
- The competition runs throughout the entire season. Each player can play AT ANY TIME!!! during the competition period.
- The number of games during the season is NOT limited in any way.
- To increase "focus" a player may play a selected competition game only once per day,
meaning a maximum of 9 different competition games per player per day. - Only your best achieved results are recorded in the leaderboard.
Navigating the Charliestats website
By clicking intuitively, you will reach the G-Cup competition page.
- By selecting game 1 to 9, the "game plan" is displayed.
- At the bottom are the results of the three players with the highest scores,
below which your result is shown along with the nearest players in the rankings for that game. - To the right of games 1 to 9, there is a small square with an arrow.
Clicking it opens a scrollable table with the rankings of all players in that game.
